My wife and I are restoring an old barn. I considered re-using the old light socket when we were putting up the exterior barn light. We are thrilled that we chose to use this socket. It really worked great. The quality in the product is clear when you use it.

This socket assembly will be used to mount my antique Benjamin lamps on the porch of my rustic lodge. My dad savaged the lamps from a factory from the 30's but I just found the correct socket assembly from Barn Light Electric just a month ago after storing them in my attic for 40 years.
