Administrative Assistant; Sales Associate; Assembler; Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Administrative Assistant- Responsible to provide administrative support to complete projects. Assistants are respected members of the project team and participate during all phases of the project life cycle. Under the direction of Research and Development manager you will be tasked with helping move projects towards completion by performing project and office administration tasks, which typically include production and distribution of work instructions, data collection, report creation, proofreading, research, and team collaboration. High School diploma or equivalent and one year experience in Administrative work required. The ability to read, understand, and write work instructions. Be accustomed to working with little supervision and interacting directly with engineers, assemblers, & quality control. Good written and oral communication. Microsoft Office 2010 and 2011. Outlook 2010 and 2011. Previous work with Microsoft Navision 2009 preferred not required.
Sales Associate- Responsible to act as the primary contact between our customers and anyone associated with them (electricians, carpenters, general contractors, or designers). Associates are expected to provide answers and expert opinions for any questions that our customers may have in a timely, professional manner. The objective for all Barn Light Electric employees is to present a positive and above average experience for our customers, ensuring a continued relationship with our loyal clientele. Responsible for assisting customers (over the phone, email, help desk, or live chat) with questions, pricing requests, or assistance placing orders. Sales Associates are expected to assist unsatisfied customers in a professional manner, all other duties as assigned. High School Diploma, AA Degree preferred, 2 years of sales experience required.
Assembler- Responsible for intricate assembly of various light fixtures. H.S Diploma or GED required, minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing assembly. Must be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools and measuring devices. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, work orders, drawings and part lists. Must be willing to be cross trained to other areas as needed. Good written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work evenings.
Shipping & Receiving Clerk- The main focus and goal of the Shipping & Receiving Department is to properly send products listed on the company purchase orders to the customers in a timely manner. Make sure shipments are packaged properly, and are sent to the correct address. Unload inbound freight orders. Maintain clean/organized stock room. Provide shipping quotes when needed. Maintain clean area. Able to lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs. 1 year shipping experience required. H.S Diploma or GED required. Must be able to work evenings.
