When the original Goodrich Electric Company was founded in 1925, it was a small newcomer in the field of lighting equipment manufacturers. Like Barn Light Electric, it enjoyed rapid growth and expanded to a larger plant to meet the growing demand for its line of porcelain enamel barn lights, including outdoor gooseneck lighting.
Today, Barn Light Electric Company® is the exclusive US manufacturer of porcelain enamel lighting styles including Goodrich™ Gooseneck Lights, Benjamin™ Stem Mount Lighting, and Ivanhoe™ Pendants.
The Goodrich™ Aero Porcelain Gooseneck Shallow Bowl Light is available in seven different finishes and comes standard with a wall backing plate and 7' of wire. The Aero was a common fixture in gas stations and garages in the early to mid 1900's, along with another vintage light fixture, the 10" Goodrich™ Esso Porcelain Gooseneck Light. Other fixtures include the 16" Goodrich™ Sky Chief Porcelain Gooseneck Light and the 17" Goodrich™ Bomber Porcelain Gooseneck Light. Popular gooseneck lighting fixtures are also available in stem mount or pendant lighting styles using the same porcelain enamel shades.

The Goodrich™ Dino shade has a porcelain enamel coating that's thin enough to ensure high quality reflection and thick enough for reliable protection to resist corrosion.
