This socket assembly will be used to mount my antique Benjamin lamps on the porch of my rustic lodge. My dad savaged the lamps from a factory from the 30's but I just found the correct socket assembly from Barn Light Electric just a month ago after storing them in my attic for 40 years.

I needed an assembly to allow me to hang my barn lights in the office kitchen that I am building. I got the first of the 6 I will need and found it to be perfect. The workmanship and quality was perfect. Best of all it was Made in the USA.

For restoration of old porcelain barn lamp shades that I inherited, The socket assemblies were missing even though the shades were in excellent condition. I had looked at cheaper plastic socket assemblies, but they all required that I grind away part of the hexagon opening and chip the porcelain. Even then, they were weak! Barn Light Electric actually made the exact part to fit perfectly!
