Garage Mahal: Hot Rod Magazine

December 2010 – Garage Mahal has proven that they can renovate any homeowner’s basic garage, but on this episode, a garage makeover is taken to a whole new level. Hot Rod Magazine published its first issue in 1948, and since the first issue, the publication has emerged as leading source for the latest tricks, tips, and tools needed for tweaking auto performance and appearance.

In this episode, car enthusiasts and mechanics alike will be blown away by all of the polished chrome decor and memorabilia commemorating over 60+ years of muscle car history. A VIP lounge area is the focal point of the garage, where four Barn Light Electric cord hung, galvanized metal warehouse pendants hang over the bar counter. As a tribute to the Hot Rod’s rich history, the lounge’s bar top is lined with covers of various issues from the past six decades. The galvanized warehouse shades tie in perfectly with the galvanized metal used to accent sidewalls and the base of the counter. Showcasing vintage posters are two Farm and Barn Outdoor Wall Sconces. Their affordable price tag allows customers to get quality, stylish lighting, without spending a lot of money.
