Shipping Information
Truck Freight
- Large orders over $1500.00 typically ship by freight truck
- Freight shipping is included within the ground shipping rate chart.
- This does not delay the shipping time or transit time, but freight shipping to a residential address will incur additional freight charges.
- The customer is responsible for all additional freight charges to a non-commercial or residential address.
- This includes residential deliveries, lift gates, re-routing & additional delivery attempts.
International Shipping
- We ship internationally and to Canada. Canadian shipping rates can be found on-line.

- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Required!

- No Re-Stocking Fee (Exchanges)
- 25% Re-Stocking Fee (Non-Exchange)
- Returns only on Standard Finishes: Standard Finishes include 96-Galvanized, 95-Dark Green, 91-Black & 93-White. All other finishes are considered premium.
- No returns on clearance, discount or salvage items
- No Returns on Premium Finishes, Copper, Brass, HID, CFL or Special Order Fixtures
- No Returns on Large Orders over 5 Light Fixtures or 2 Ceiling Fans
- Fixtures MUST be in NEW & UNINSTALLED Condition with Original Packaging. Fixtures returned without authorization or to the wrong address WILL NOT be refunded.
- Customer is Responsible for all Returned Shipping & Insurance Charges.
- We gladly send out finish samples upon request.

Business Practices
Lead Times
All of our Barn Lighting is manufactured in the United States. We DO NOT import our Barn Lighting. All materials are kept in stock. Several of our light fixtures ship within five business days. However, if your ordered light fixture is not pre-manufactured, we will start the manufacturing process the day of order. The manufacturing process typically takes between five to ten business days depending upon the finish and quantity ordered.
From time to time we do offer some import lighting. These lights can be found in our Clearance Section. We verify the quality of this lighting prior to placing it for sale on our web site.
Need it faster?
We can prioritize your order for an additional 25% of order total or $35.00, whichever is greater.
Priority orders are guaranteed to ship within 5 business days.
Finish Options
The following finishes are considered standard and do not require an up charge: 96-GALVANIZED, 91-BLACK, 93-WHITE, 95-DARK GREEN, BR47-POWDER COAT RUST and GN20-POWDER COAT PATINA.
All other finish options are considered premium finishes and may require additional days in the manufacturing time. Premium finish options do require an up-charge.
All copper finishes are considered Special Order and are non-returnable.
Please allow up to 15 business days for the manufacturing process of special order and copper light fixtures. Polished and Satin Finishes are for INTERIOR USE ONLY.

Limited Warranty
All lighting is warranteed by the manufacturer for up to one year to be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Please note that not all finishes are warranteed for exterior use. All lighting is UL Listed. Light bulbs not included. Barn Light Electric is not responsible for projects not meeting the completion date.
